Grow Your Business with Content Marketing

Traditional marketing is slipping away.  Reliance on newspaper and magazine advertising just isn’t what it used to be. For small businesses, having an effective presence on the Internet may be leveling the playing field with the big boys who have always had lots of money to spend on getting the message out.

Maintaining a web site that features valuable content for your customer is one of the cutting edge things to do.  You can combine it with accounts in Facebook, Twitter, and yes, a blog.   You should have an overall marketing strategy and all the pieces should fit together.  Know about the customers you wish to target. Provide the information your customers need to help them make decisions.   Be sure your content marketing fit with your goals.

Information for this posting was drawn from the book, Get Content, Get Customers by Joe Polizzi and Newt Barrett.  It’s a practical guide to advance your business with social marketing tools plus actual success stories and applications. You can find it at Arapahoe Library District or other public libraries in your area.
