Small Business Survival

Every business downturn presents itself with challenges. Those who are flexible, those who are nimble, or those who take the time to “think outside the box” survive.
In the article, “New and Improved” published in the April 23,2009 issue of The Wall Street Journal, Suzanne Barlyn discusses how small businesses can rejuvenate by making changes to their products, focusing on a different marketing segment, or altering prices. She provides examples of businesses that are thriving inspite of the obstacles they face. Each business owner demonstrated what they had to do in order to adapt to the challenging economic environment. So, you may just have to change with the times but nothing is impossible.
